Reporting office according to HinSchG

TABAK Consulting GmbH operates an internal reporting office in accordance with the Whistleblower Protection Act (HinSchG) of July 2, 2023. Through this reporting office, reports of possible violations of law or internal policies can be submitted confidentially and securely.

Who can submit reports?

Reports can be submitted by:

• Employees of TABAK Consulting GmbH and affiliated companies
• Former employees
• Applicants and interns
• Business partners and service providers
• Clients

What violations can be reported?

Reports may relate to the following areas:

• Violations of legal regulations (criminal law, tax law, labor law, data protection law)
• Violations of professional regulations (StBerG, BOStB)
• Violations of internal guidelines and codes of conduct
• Money laundering or terrorism financing
• Corruption or bribery
• Violations of data protection regulations

How can reports be submitted?

Reports can be submitted in the following ways:

Reports can also be submitted anonymously. The identity of whistleblowers will be treated with strict confidentiality.

Protection of whistleblowers

Whistleblowers acting in good faith are protected from reprisals under the HinSchG. This includes dismissals, warnings, transfers, or other disadvantageous measures. Retaliation against whistleblowers is prohibited and will be pursued rigorously.

Processing of reports

All incoming reports will be:

• Confirmed within 7 days (unless anonymous report)
• Carefully and impartially examined
• Completed within 3 months of receipt (or informed about the status of processing)

External reporting office

In addition to the internal reporting office, there is also the option to submit reports to the external reporting office of the Federal Office of Justice (BfJ):
